Badminton Ireland Resilience Fund Club Grant Scheme

Badminton Ireland are delighted to announce the 2nd Round of our Resilience Fund Club Grant Scheme which all ROI Badminton Ireland affiliated clubs can apply for to assist them with the financial impact that the Co-Vid 19 pandemic has had on their club activities.

This Grant Scheme is available as a result of the announcement from Government that up to €15 million would be made available to support clubs nationwide. Moreover, Sport Ireland recently confirmed that Badminton Ireland would be allocated funds to deliver and administer a Resilience Fund Club Grant Scheme through the National Governing Body. We thank both the Government and Sport Ireland for their support during this challenging time for our sport.

Clubs may now apply for this grant if they have recevied funding from their Local Sports Partnership.

The conditions are as follows:

  • Money received from LSP and money being applied for through BI must not exceed €1,500
  • Clubs will need to provide confirmation of what funding was received from LSP and for what equipment
  • Clubs must not apply for the same equipment as LSP application

Applications are to be submitted by all clubs via the following Microsoft Forms link:  Badminton Ireland Resilience Fund Club Grant Scheme Application Form

Any supporting documentation to submit alongside your application should be sent to Sarah O'Donoghue at sodonoghue@badmintonireland.com
