AIG FZ Forza Irish Open 2019 Finals Results

An incredible turnout at the AIG FZ Forza Irish Finals Day and a day filled with excitement and intense games!

One of the biggest matches of the day was the Men's Singles between eigth seed and fifth seed, Toma Junior Popov from France vs Pablo Abian from Spain. As the crowd cheered for Abian, Popov did not let that stop him, as he came out on top after just two games. Popov received a yellow card after some misconduct on the court. In the Men's Doubles, second seeds faced third seeds, Alexander Dunn & Adam Hall of Scotland vs Jones Ralfy Jansen & Peter Kaesbauer of Germany. After three close and intense games, Jansen & Kaesbauer take home the Gold. The German pair have done extremely well throughout the tournament, beating Olympic silver medalist, Carsten Mogensen & Mads Pieler-Kolding (5) from Denmark in the Quarter Finals and then Liao Kuan Hao & Po Li-Wei of Chinese Taipei in the Semi-Finals.
