April was another busy month for the Irish players who compete on the international circuit. Sam and Chloe Magee travelled to the Malaysia open followed by the Singapore open. Jonathan Dolan and David Walsh travelled to Finland to compete in the Finnish Open.

Sian Williams and Pam Peard travelled to the 2019 All England Seniors Masters and the Irish under fifteen team were also in England for the 2019 Quadrangular.

Pam and Sian stole the headlines for April as they brought back two gold medals. Sian winning the over 55 singles title and then partnering up with Pam to win the doubles title. You can read the full report from this event by clicking here

The Irish youngsters also had great success at the 2019 under fifteen quadrangular event. The team brought home four individual medals, two silver and two bronze along with a bronze in the team event.

Badminton Ireland Talent group player Matthew Cheung earned the two silver medals over the weekend. Matthew reached both the final of the singles and the doubles event with his partner Dylan Noble.
