Action Lesotho

Lesotho is a landlocked country surrounded on all sides by South Africa. It has a population of just over 2 million and 40% of this population lives below the international poverty line. Since 2012 BWF has taken it's 'Shuttle Time' project and their message of “Badminton for all” all over the world, Including Lesotho. Here at Badminton Ireland we would like to help by asking our members to get involved.

We are asking members to donate there old rackets,t-shirts,shorts,racket bags, shoes to this schools project for Lesotho. Download poster here to advertise in your club.

Help us improve the lives of these children, and spread the joy that can be found in playing the sport we all love. Donate your old unwanted t-shirts, rackets, shoes, racket bags today. Send all donations to the Badminton Ireland office (Badminton Ireland, Irish Sports HQ, National Sports Campus, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15) or at the following event: Under 15/19 International 5-7th September at Baldoyle Badminton Centre.

If you have any questions about the project or how to get involved please contact membership@badmintonireland.com
