High Performance Overview

The Badminton Ireland High Performance structure is designed to deliver talented individuals who are willing to commit to a performance pathway, the opportunity to fulfil their potential by providing them with the support both on court and off court in conjunction with the Irish Institute of Sport.

The Athlete Talent Pathway comprises of entry level ‘Talent identification tools’ and ‘Talent identification camps’, these feed in to the High Performance athlete talent pathway and the ‘Talent Squad’, our Olympic focused players.

The High Performance programme is managed by the Performance Director. The Badminton Ireland High Performance Management Group takes a collective decision around selections and high performance structure.
