Did you know that badminton is one of the most popular sports in Ireland? It's a sport that you can play throughout your life, both socially and competitively, and it's also one of the few sports with equal participation of both sexes. Schools leagues and competitions start early in September each year with a National Schools Final in March each year so make sure your entries are in to the local organisers on time!
The All-Ireland Secondary Schools Badminton Finals Day is held every year in March and has more than 180 children taking part. It has become one of the most exciting junior sporting events on the calender. This is the culmination of a full season of competitions, blitzes and leagues throughout the country with all winners (and some runners-up) qualifying for the Finals Day. For contact details for provincial and local organisers, please see Schools Flyer below or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
