BI Clubmark
BI Clubmark is the Badminton Ireland Club Accreditation Programme.
The programme aims to identify, develop, accredit and recognise high quality badminton clubs and their contribution to the development of the sport in Ireland.
BI Clubmark mirrors the Clubmark NI scheme in Ulster and has been developed in conjunction with the Irish Sports Council and Local Sports Partnership network to ensure integration with their club development frameworks.
Badminton Ireland values this essential and significant role that sports clubs play in the development of sport, providing outlets for participation, while also facilitating quality environments for talented young athletes to develop. The competitive opportunities offered by clubs are yet another key opportunity for participation and development.
Badminton clubs can achieve BI Clubmark accredited status by meeting minimum operating standards in the areas of:
- Effective Management
- Quality Coaching
- Competition Safety in Sport
