Irish Under 19's Continue to dominate at the Irish under 19 Open

Ireland's Top Under 19 Players will feature heavily in the Irish Under 19 Open Finals.

 

 

 

In the Men's Singles Jonathan Dolan Fufilled his seeding to take his place in the final, on the other side of the Draw Joshua Magee created the upset of the day beating number one seed Bruno Carvalho from portugal in a thrilling match 23-21 21-16

 

 

In the ladies singles Alannah Stephenson will face fellow Badminton Ireland Talent group player Rachael Darragh. Both player's were unseeded for the event and came through against tough opposition Racahael beating Sonia Goncalves of portugal in two straight sets and Alannah beating Rebekka Findaly from Scotland again in two sets.

 

 

In the Men's Doubles David Walsh partner's Jonathan Dolan as Jonathan aims for two titles however the tough pairing of number one seed's Josh Neil and Ben Torrance will look to stop them in their paths in what should be a very explosive men's doubles final

 

 

In the Ladies Doubles Rachael Darragh will partner her Rival from the ladies singles final Alannah Stephenson as they face Ellen Mahenthiralingam and Aimee Moran the number two seeds from Wales. The Welsh pair have shown good form going into the final so the Irish pairing will need to be at their very best to take the ladies doubles crown for this event.

 

In the Mixed doubles Caroline Black and Partner Ciaran Chambers have made their way to the final taking out a number of good pairings on their way including number one seeds Bruno Carvalho and Sonia Goncalves from Portugal. In the Final they Will face Adam Hall and Caitlin Gilmour to try and cement the title of irish Under 19 Open Mixed Champions.
