"It was a fantastic weekend of Badminton for Ireland. Sam and Chloe Magee winning the Irish Open for the first time was a massive result. We are also looking to the future and Matthew Cheung is a player who we have identified of having future potential. Matthew has worked hard over the summer and has a great attitude towards training. This result in Gloucsester highlights that he is one of the best players in his age group in both Ireland and the UK. If Matthew continues to work hard and stays focused he has great potential to break through at international level" High performance Director Daniel Magee
