Irish Sports Council NGB Grants

The Irish Sports Council has announced funding allocations for National Governing Bodies for 2009.

Badminton Ireland faired very well, both in terms of core funding and Women in Sport Programme. This is especially welcome particularly in the current economic climate and it will allow Badminton Ireland to continue much of its current development work with particular emphasis on schools badminton and junior badminton initiatives.

Core Funding €379,192

Women in Sport €144,400
