Four Nations Disability Championships Ireland 2008

disa_2_customBadminton Ireland hosted our inaugural Four Nations Irish Disability Championships in the National Badminton Centre, Lisburn on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd November 08. The tournament was a tremendous success and all involved really enjoyed the event including competitors, volunteers and spectators.

Well Done to the Irish Players who won gold medals:- Colin O'Neill, Adam Smyth, Priscilla McCullough, Garry Bailie, Claire O'Neill and Laura Lee Jenkins. Well Done to the Irish silver medallists also:- Stafford Lynn, Jean Daly, Niall McVeigh, Emma Farnham and Luke Irvine.

Congratulations to Scott Richardson and Deirdre Nagle for winning Male and Female Players of the tournament!

 

The Next 4-Nations Disability Championships event will be hosted by England on 13th-15th February 09 in Liverpool. Please keep an eye on their website for further information.
