Athletes should be aware of the Irish Anti-Doping Rules.  The Irish Anti-Doping Rules were launched in 2004, and updated on 01 January 2009.

Republic of Ireland: www.eirpharm.com has a ‘Drugs in Sport Database' where athletes can check prescribed and over-the-counter medications bought in the Republic of Ireland

Northern Ireland: www.uksport.gov.uk has interactive pdf databases where athletes can check prescribed and over-the-counter medications bought in Northern Ireland and the UK
