This module is a similar structure to the Transition Year Module. There are areas within this module that can be further expanded to cover cross curricular depending on the group.
For example:
- The area of careers in club administration: the group could be given a project to set up and run a badminton club within the school for a number of weeks or to organise a competition for other school students etc - this would have a cross over with life skills
- This could also be further expanded to organise a competition in conjunction with another school
- Internet searches to find badminton information on the website list given or to find other badminton websites – Cross over with IT/computer skills
