New season and the weather is good Badminton is calling you

Calling all Badminton clubs the new season is up and running Why not give me a call and let me know what is happening in your club. Have you any new members did all the present ones come back yet? Do you have a juvenile section or are you interested in starting up one, give me a call see what we can do for you. Do not forget to visit our stand at the ploughing championships you would be surprised what you might get.

Kilcullen Summer Camp a great success

Another Successful Juvenile Badminton Camp was held again this year in Kilcullen Community Centre. A total of 26 children aged 8 yrs-17 yrs took part in the summer camp which was led by Claire Flood-International player and coach and assisted by BI Coach Sheila Smyth. The camp ran from June 29th-July 4th. Due to demand another camp is being planned for August. Players from Blessington, Hollywood, Naas, Dunlavin & Kilcullen took part and a super time was had by everyone with fun, friendship and competition being the order of the day. Prizes, fresh fruit, mineral water ,snacks and a group photograph was given to all participants as a momento of a great week.
