ULSTER TEAM DOES JENNY PROUD!!
The Inter County Championships took place in Nottingham between the 27th – 30th March 2008 and Ulster made sure departing manager Jenny Stephenson left with a smile on her face by continuing their impressive form from previous years by again battling it out with the top English Counties for the top eight positions.

  
Women in Sport Initiatives 2007/2008
Under the Women in Sport Initiative administered by the Irish Sports Council, Badminton Ireland has secured funding for a number of projects for the 2007/2008 season.
Finnish Exchange to Wexford a great success
A recent visit from the Turku District Girls squad in Finland to Wexford proved to be a great success. The trip was organised by Wexford County Association and the Turku Squad with support from the Women in Sport Initiative.
New Development Officer Areas from 1st April
Folllowing increased funding from the Irish Sports Council, all Badminton Ireland Development Officer positions went to full time (or equivalent) from 1st February 2007
Level 2 Coaching Course
